Stone process

To achieve a dimensional stone look that would also serve as a good projection surface, we used stucco and rubber texture rollers. Softened out and created variation with a wet brush.

Stairs

While we used stucco for the stonework, on the wooden stairs we used a "krusty" mixture of ball clay, water, and glue we would apply onto the stairs/wooden beams with a brush and then comb through a "grain" with texture combs. In addition, there was a gradient of blue sky clouds on the stairs you can see me painting a part of here.
