Who is she? What is she doing?!

I'm Delia Revard! I am a scenic artist, and have been serving as Scenic Charge at Daedalus Design & Production Inc., located in Brooklyn, NY since Summer 2021. In this role, I manage the paint shop - communicating with designers to realize their vision, hiring and running a crew of scenics ranging in numbers from 2-10, planning projects, creating samples, and ordering materials and maintaining stock in the paint inventory. We work on a wide variety of projects, including (but not limited to) theatre, film, events, fashion, and displays. One of my favorite projects is a fairly recent one - Disney's Hercules, set to open at Paper Mill Playhouse in February 2023. Though I love to use my scenic skills for the variety of projects we get at Daedalus, there's nothing like a classic musical to reignite my passion for what I do.

A Quick Background Tour!

In 2018, I graduated with my BA in Theatre from Florida State University and accepted a position as the Touch-up Painter/Scenic Art Apprentice at Santa Fe Opera. After that contract ended, I moved to NYC to work as a Scenic Art Apprentice at the Juilliard School for their 2018-2019 school year. I returned to Santa Fe three more summers, freelancing in NYC for the rest of the year, and worked my way up to Staff Scenic Artist. As staff, I was responsible for carrying out all scenic treatments for Santa Fe's summer opera season, as well as serving as the Lead Scenic Artist on one out of the five operas. After the 2021 season, I accepted the Scenic Charge position at Daedalus Inc. and am presently employed there.
