THE OTHER SHORE - JUILLIARD 2018

Set for The Other Shore, designed by Deb O at the Juilliard School. Charged by Jenny Stanjeski, Assistant Charge David Blaakman, scenic apprentices myself (Delia Revard) and Jacob Caire.

The Other Shore

For this design, we actually made multiple "flow art" paint samples, and then scaled the favorite one into a functional elevation. The process, as you can see the beginning of here, was essentially just to spray the general color shapes, and then go in with fitches and hand paint the swirling patterns. We also mixed our paints with Flotrol to make things a bit smoother.
